On October 18, 2009, Inner Expressions and Women for Women International www.womenforwomen.orgwill come together for a must see event. Fashion For Hope was created with the vision of helping others. Inner Expressions would like to bring awareness and raise financial support for WFWI through this wonderful event.
Fashion For Hope will showcase fashions by up and coming designers who chose this wonderful career path of the fashion world. Enjoy this Sunday evening event with a series of beautiful runway fashions. In addition to being a unique opportunity for talented fashion designers, the event promises to attract the participation of some of the most creative makeup artists, trend setting hair stylists and stunning runway models. Through this wonderful showcase we are not loosing site of the purpose. Proceeds from this event will support the organizations projects and programs.
Women for Women International mobilizes women to change their lives through a holistic approach that addresses the unique needs of women in conflict and post- conflict environments. Women for Women International begins by working with women who may have lost everything in conflict and often have nowhere else to turn. Participation in the organizations one year sponsorship program gives women tools to move from victim to survivor to active citizen.
